Kansas Urban Early Rifle Season?

Does anyone know of any good places to hunt between Topeka and Kansas City for the early rifle season. If you don' t want to post it on here you can send it to [email protected].

Early rifle season? or the normal Dec. rifle season. That one and the late doe season is the only that I know of.

There is a special firearm season Oct. 18-26, designated for unit 19 only, using any legal firearm equipment. As far as finding land to hunt on, I beleive it is mostly private property, and I don' t have any leads to go on.

I just checked out the KDWP homepage. Wow, I can' t believe kdwp would do this. This season is stupid. They' re allowing people to use their either sex permits during the pre-rut archery season. TERRIBLE!!! It' s obvious most of the hunters are going to be looking for that monster buck who' s hormones is flying out the roof. KDWP is taking deer-management to a new low level. I have been pretty much behind kdwp decisions in the past, but am completely against this one!
