It's always good to see a successful draw. I'll be back in Central Illinois this year for the later than normal gun season. If your a person that uses the moon chart they are predicting a late rut this year as well. All I know is I can't wait for deer season!

I pulled my first pick for the first time in (I think) 3 years -- it was good to see.

I take it your on public land? Hopefully you got a good spot. I never had any luck pulling any specific site permits in Northern Illinois.

Back to schuyler county all permits drawn. Will apply for lassalle county after second draw.

You should get Lasalle pretty easy. I got it about 7 years ago on the daily draw. With all the private land there and somewhat lack of hunting they seem to always have an excess of tags. Good hunting there too, I got a nice doe there on a piece of land we had too many guys hunting on opening day that year. It was a lot of fun though!

Ya I have pulled full season tags in the daily draw for lassale the last 4 years. This way I have the option to hunt down south or up here if I cant get off work for one of the seasons. Both great counties....
