Not from there...hope someone chimes in with a processor for you. I have found that during a lunch break at a country store or while at a sporting goods store check out the bullitan board. You can usually find some good ones there.

yup..sure do. Grocery store in Pleasant Hill called Bob's Red Fox does deer processing in back. Bring the deer to them gutted and they will do whatever you want. cape it, quarter it, get it ready for the taxidermist, and store it for you in their cooler til you ready to go home. They do a great job and are reasonably priced. I go up there every year and always bring my deer to them. Nicest people you'll ever meet too.
Pleasant Hill is only about 10-15 miles from Pittsfield. From Pittsfield, you head towards Atlas. When you get to the stop sign in Atlas, take a left and head towards Pleasant Hill. When you get into Pleasant Hill, there is a shell station on the left. Just past the Shell station is another gas station and car wash on the right. Bob's is right behind there.
Good luck.

Bob's is good but there is one in town in Pittsfield called Magros 217-438-2880 and Valley View in Pleasant Hill is close to Nebo on county rd 11 and his number is 217-248-1327 All three are good, Valley View accepts deer for the Feed the Hungry Program.

If Magro's in Pittsfield is the same as Magro's in Auburn, IL, you're batting 1000! Quality processing with great sausage recipes and vacuum packed. A++.
Auburn is probably a little over an hour from Pittsfield - BTW. So it is likely they are the same family.
I take them beef. They keep my order specifics on file as far as steak thickness, roast size, what to do with trimmings, etc. Just gotta order "the usual" from now on. They don't yell "Norm" when I walk in the door though.
