hen of the woods/illinois
 
thanks in advance for any suggestions.

found what i think is a hen of the woods, but it was about 2 feet away from the oak. it was very wet in certian spots of the mushroom. underneath as i cleaned it a bit some of it was gooey, is this a hen?
