whos going bowhunting? I'm am so ready I can't stand it. Will Sat. ever get here? Set up a new ground blind on a favorite spot, and set my friend up in a really great spot, hopefully for his first deer. I just want to be out there!!

Ill be out at my spot right outside Chicago Saturday, looking to fill a doe tag and if I'm lucky my buck tag with the big guy I'm after. Won't be able to head to my good spot in Central Illinois for a couple weeks. I'm looking forward to a great year....I hope! Good Luck to all!

If I'm lucky I will get an hour or 2 in before it gets dark. But I doubt it so I'm counting on No more than YES.

Just too much to do of more important things - like family.

But I'll have the main property covered by some good guys. There's been some real dandy bucks moving thru there and if one of them arrows one of them I'll just be real happy for them.

Will be out Saturday for the opener. Set up a ladder last weekend, but they are forecasting a north wind and the way I set up isn't ideal, so I may be humping the climber in. Good luck all.

Gladius, I hunt up in Greene Co. I see your in Randolph, theres some nice land down there, used to kick around the Steeleville/Percy area some years ago. Good hunting to everyone.

I shot a doe yesturday night on public ground in S. Illinois im headin back up to Central Illinois this weekend to hunt some of my groundback home. Had a buddy that killed a 164" 10 point on October 3rd!!
