RE: Broadhead Choice

We (me-brother-son) have taken Black Bear, Caribou, Elk, & many species of deer PLUS the toughest of all-WILD HOGS. I use the Rocky Mountain 125gr. Razor 3 blade & they use the 100gr. 3 Blade. We shoot our broadheads into 3-D deer target for practice all the time-they are extremy tough-we have no problems with flight or anything when changing arrow shafts or bow weights. I cannot say enough good about them-thats how " WE" feel. good luck

Being new to the sport, I chose Spitfires 125s. I was some what pleased with its performance ( afriend recommended them). This year I' m going with Rocky Mountain Snyper' s 100 grain. One of my brothers uses them and I like what I' ve seen on his shots.

Slick Trick 125 (100 last year)
Tough as anything out there, and probably the best flying fixed head on the market (See 5 shot' s tests in the bowhunting section).
In MY tests, these heads out penetrated Muzzy 100 Shockwave 100 and Steelforce 100. And the blades looked much better after the dust settled as well....1 REALLY tough head.
I like a 4 blade head as long as you don' t go TOO big. NOTHING over 1 1/4" in a 4 blade head (Slick Tricks are 1 1/8" )

You can call them, or e-mail them.
I got mine about 4 days after I e-mailed him (as a repeat customer, he trusts me...not SURE everyone gets that treatment....but it wouldn' t suprize me...these are " good people" )

I' ve used the inner-locs and really like them. They are very comparible to muzzy, and I haven' t had any problem with loose blades. With so many good broadheads on the market, just have to find the one that works best for you. Good Luck!
