Southern Illinois!
Well,Looks like I will be moving to Southern Illinois!
My wifes grandmother is in failing health and with my job here in WV not being very stable,we have decided to move out to southern Il. so my wife can take care of her! I am very excited about getting to hunt were the big bucks roam, but very worried about being able to find a good job out there! Never had so many mixed feelings like this before,GOD please let things work out for us!! |
Where will you be headed in S IL?

All of my mom's family is from Harrisburg, and my aunt owns about 700 acres down there. I live in northern IL, but have spent alot of time there. Small world, the wife and I are talking about moving down there as well.

You're going to love it there! We farm just south of there.

Dixon Springs is one of the most fun areas to bow hunt. I wish you the best, I do a lot of hunting all over that area.

Welcome to Illinois nimrod (that just doesn't sound right does it?). I was raised in Central Illinois, moved to Northern Illinois for work, but my heart is in Southern Illinois. Anyways, start your networking and scouting now so you're all ready for next season. Once you get that taken care of, you can start looking for work.
