Crops in MO

Just wondering how the crops are doing for the farmers in Northern MO? It was neat to see the change in deer patterns when corn fields are moved season to season. Talking to the farmer we lease from earlier in the year, he said he' s putting corn back in where he had it the season before last. Can' t wait, less than 10 weeks to opening day.

RE: Crops in MO

I concentrate on the bean fields at this time of year to watch for bucks. All crops seem to be doing well around the n.w. part of the state, though we could use just a little more rain. Bucks will stay in the standing corn for cover, an may even raid a sweet corn patch a farmer has put out, but my best luck right now is in the bean fields.
