Illinois deer question!!!!
Alright, can someone who knows a lot about Illinois DNR answer these questions please?
On the weekend of November 26-28 can I buy an antlerless archery permit and use it on that weekend with my bow? I will be hunting in White County I am a non-resident by the way. |
As long as it's not gun/slug season, I believe no problem....
|
Kind of expensive for 3 days...about $400 I think!

No you can buy an antlerless non-resident for 25.50

Why is White County lousy with deer? I live about 2 and a half hours away so I don't know anything about White County

I'm sure he means overrun with deer. I hunted White County several years ago and was very impressed with the quantities and low pressure.

karabiner is right. I meant there are lots of Deer in White County. I have hunted White County for 9 years now and the quality and quantity of Deer in general and Bucks in particular matches that of any of the more "famous" counties in Illinois's so called "Golden Triangle". In short, if you have an opportunity to hunt in White County and don't do it, you may miss the chance to truly kill the Buck of a lifetime. I have taken two 130 class 8 pointers down there and seen numerous Bucks much bigger than that. |
