Ohio Weather

Hey kid brother and I are heading to the Loudonville Area (Mohican SF) and we are curious as to what kind of weather you have had this summer. I am also curious if the corn will be down prior to the end of Oct. Here in NH we had a very dry summer and the corn has already come down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im about 3 hours north of Loudenville. The 2nd half of summer here was dry....First time in a long time some of the small creeks were dry.... Corn might be picked earlier this year. Ive heard combines picking beans all ready this year....Im starting my bow hunting Monday....Cooler temps are here now..As always lots of nice bucks out there I havent shot anything smaller than a 8 point for 16 years now...I dont wanna jinx myself, but the bucks are there, just gotta put in the time and wait for your buck...Good luck! Hows the moose population up there ??

I live about 20 minutes from Mohican forest, on the edge of Knox and Morrow county.

The beans are pretty much all off around here, and they are starting on the corn. I would imagine by the end of October that the corn will be off and you'll be good to go.

Good luck! Mohican is a little known treasure. There are a lot of little areas that aren't hunted...and the number of monsters roaming that area is astounding.
