What is the reason for the lower population?

im a lil further southwest in unit 15 and the deer are plenty where im hunting. probably a 100 miles from neodshea

The weather has finally cooled off here in KS. It's been in the mid 70's for a high and upper 40's and lower 50's for a low. I travel on a regular basis thru unit's 11 and 12. The deer seem to be plentiful. You guys should have pretty good luck, and "Welcome to Kansas"
