You really don't need to pound farm doors or break the bank to hunt Buffalo county... With a little research, and a little scouting there are some very good public land areas in Wisconsin that are really under hunted. About 90% of my Wisconsin hunting is on public and some of the public spots are a lot better than some of the private.
We also have forest crop law land that although its private property you can hunt legally hunt it through an agreement with the state. Some of that barely gets touched.
