Color Phase Bears in Wisconsin

I drew a bear tag this year for unit C. I hunt out of Peshtigo. I have found tufts of "brown" fur at one of my hit baits. Of course, the trail camera malfunctioned for that particular bait hit. I feel I have a color phase coming in. Any Wisconsin Bear hunters out there know if we indeed have color phase bears here? I know if we do they would be uncommon, but, cool if I have one. A Cuddeback is headed to that stand this weekend. Look forward to any Wisconsin Bear hunters chiming in.:sign0016:

Well I have seen a lot of bears in the Northern end of the State but never saw a brown or blonde bear. Now I did talk to a person that "claims" he saw a light brown one in Bayfield County. But again , it was all talk and never supported by evidence. If you have a color phase bear, that will be cool. Looking forward to the pictures. Good luck with the trail camera.
