JW...No, I dont live in Peoria, I am about 1 1/2 hours East of Peoria. I am just excited because it beats the 3- 3 1/2 hours to STL or Chicago. I just took a 3 year job in Salt Lake City, Utah and will be leaving IL on the 17th of this month to head over there. Wife and kids are staying here, and I get a week off every month, so I will be back. I fish at Banner Marsh, pretty decent. Well I will ttyl.

I hope it's better than that poor excuse for a Gander Mountain. I wasted a day driving over for that one.

Heard that there is suppose to be one going up in Champaign-Urbana also. But haven't seen anything on their website about it so don't know if it's true or not. Anyone know?

BPS has looked into this area before and opted not to build a store here.... I won't get excited about this deal either... util I see them starting construction.

I have always lived and worked in this region and we really need a serious Outdoor store. As mentioned, our Gander Mountain is a JOKE!
