7,000 acres. Thats alot of acres to try to hunt. I've always said it quality not quanity that makes a difference. Should be good hunting in that area of the state. I've seen alot of great hunting on less than a 100 acres. Good luck and enjoy your trip to Kansas.

Pheasant season opens the 13th so at least you won't have that traffic,you may see some mule deer also

First of all no big woods, lots of open farm ground with some small narrow creeks with woods. Best bet will be blind or tree stand near food and maybe water. Look for brushy corners too. Harvest of grain can change everything too is wet fall crops maybe still standing. Great hunting. Ray
