Been kinda slow so far. Passed a 130"-135" 8 pointer last week. 3 bigger, older bucks on trail cams. Only work 2 days out of the next 11, expectations are high.

Things are finally heating up, a dandy 6-8 pointer crossed the road in front of my car Wednesday morning, since he was going from my woods to a clear cut cornfield it wasn't tough to figure out his motivation. The rut is definitely on down here.

Saw 4 does and 3 bucks this morning. All little guys though. Wasn't in my stand 10 minutes and turned the can call over and within minutes had a 7 point 5 yard from me. The other 2 bucks looked to be 4 pointers. Still a ton of corn standing out there.
