Saturday i only hunted the am due to the heat, seen one 4pt hauling it. I had to deal with the moron on the neighbors side that i dealt with last year. The guy who rattles non stop and just walks around, talks on his cell phone, etc. Right at daybreak i heard the antlers crashing and knew the hunt would suck. It did, the one deer i did see was because that clown kicked him up to me.
Sunday night i moved to a new stand away from him. Set up on the edge of a half picked corn field. Seen 6 does and 2 bucks, but no shooters. Went back tonight in the high winds/rain, seen 5 more does and another 4 pt. I seen a big 9 pointer last week during bow, he has yet to show so far during gun. Gonna try it thursday and friday afternoon and then maybe make a trip up to Marshall county over the weekend to hunt the riverbottoms with a buddy.
