They weree-mailed to meby my Doctorwho said they were taken near Marenisco, Michigan, just north of the WI border. What are the chances you would see, not one but two together?:D

Does anyone know if an albino can have a normal baby? It looks to me that the one moose has two babys that are normal. That is what the Doc thinks also.

I received those photos by email 3 different times by 3 different people. 1 claimed photos were taken in Alberta, 2nd claimed photos were taken in Montana, 3rd claimed photos were taken in Michigan. So much crap floating around on the net you dont know who or what to believe.

cayugad, thats good to know, I didn't realize these pics were out there. When I got the e-mail I didn't even question it. I don't want anyone to think I was trying to pull one over on them, just wanted to share the pic's.
To me, it was nice to see them and thought others would like to see them too. It was something I never saw before!

Alibinism is, I think,a recessive trait. This means the calf has to inherit it from BOTH parents to be albino. So they are more likely to have normal calves.

The reason I'm not 100% sure is that you also see piebald animals, which are a mix. I'd have to look up the genetic factors involved to be sure.

Yes an albino can have a normal baby, only if both parents were albinos would all the offspring be albino.

2 normal parents could have an albino...

It's all about genes....recessive, dominant, and statistics.

That email circulated all over, i received like 12 of them with the same pics all from different states and different parts of Canada.

Peanut-You should have posted them!!! It is clear that not everyone has seen them. I posted them so all could see them,and most people thought they were cool to see. Who cares where they were taken!
