cayugad, thats good to know, I didn't realize these pics were out there. When I got the e-mail I didn't even question it. I don't want anyone to think I was trying to pull one over on them, just wanted to share the pic's.
To me, it was nice to see them and thought others would like to see them too. It was something I never saw before!

Anything hunting and bizarre related that you receive in an EMAIL is most likely bogus

Alibinism is, I think,a recessive trait. This means the calf has to inherit it from BOTH parents to be albino. So they are more likely to have normal calves.

The reason I'm not 100% sure is that you also see piebald animals, which are a mix. I'd have to look up the genetic factors involved to be sure.

Does anyone know if an albino can have a normal baby? It looks to me that the one moose has two babys that are normal. That is what the Doc thinks also.
Yes an albino can have a normal baby, only if both parents were albinos would all the offspring be albino.

2 normal parents could have an albino...

It's all about genes....recessive, dominant, and statistics.

that is really something i think. i have never seen or heard of a albino moose until now.
