Great sheds, wow! Yeah, I am waiting for this snow to melt also.....it sucks.
I like a nice little white layer on the ground when hunting sheds. It makes them stand out (up). Alot harder to seperate from the brown leaves and sticks/twigs when there is no snow cover.

But that's just me.

i found a double beam shed last week then this week just drivin around i saw a buck with full headgear so i still think central Illinois has a little while longer

The antlers are really dropping around here. My buddy's and I have found over 20 in the champaign-vermillion area so far. Go out and find some.

I saw 45 deer just driving through a forest preserve this past week...none with antlers...I have to imagine many were bucks...I think most have dropped.

We hunted hard all weekend and only found 9. Biggest was 66 inches. Also saw 5 different bucks still carrying both sides. Seem awfully late this year.

I went out again this weekend...tried a new set of woods...struck out as usual. Saw a bunch of deer...none with antlers...

Seemed like a lot of foot traffic in these particular woods...probably already pretty picked through...

You a Northsider or a west sider ChicagoTRS? It seems like everything gets picked over by me pretty quick? Ive spent a decent amount of time out this year and found nothing. I remember 15 years ago If I didn't find 2 a day it was a bad day.

West side...this is the first year I have hit the Cook County woods...tons and tons of deer. Woods are so sketchy though...feel like I should be armed.
