Pressure usually isn't too bad if you are going during archery season. Gun season is another story! Where in Ohio are you planning on hunting?

RE: ohio hunting land
I gun hunted Ohio for 3 years in a rowin the Nelsonville area and then again down near the KY border. Lots of pub land but get ready for way more hunters than most people can handle. There are so many hunters on pub land that I think it is a safety issue. Lots of deer but unless you are able to get way back in the WMU's forget about it. Not really that easy to get permission on private land like here at home. They all want money. I probably wouldn't go back unless I had a good piece of private land to hunt.

RE: ohio hunting land
Check Woodbury Wildlife Area in Coshocton County. It's one of Ohio's best Big Buck counties.

RE: ohio hunting land
Make sure you get well well offte beaten path. Gun season looks like the Kmart hunting section w/ all the orange.

RE: ohio hunting land
It's nuts in gun season on public land. The only suggestion I can give is to go to one of the bigger chunks of Wayne Nat'l and try to avoid getting shot.

Have they posted when and where the meeting are going to be?
