Can anyone tell me what Illinois counties still have good numbers of pheasants that arenot pen raised?

I haven't been pheasant hunting in years due to the population being down. In the past the best hunting used to be in the Rt. 47 Ford/Iroquois Counties, towns of Gibson City, Watseka, Cisna Park areas. That area for years was known as "Pheasant Alley"

Iroquois county. The farther southeast you get the better. Killing a lot of birds right on the stateline road.
