Hogs In ohio

Anymore sightings of hogs in Ohio.
Curious about the numbers.
Is Vinton county still the highest population?

Apparently in Ashland county (north central Ohio) they are still seeing/killing hogs that have gotten loose over time.

With a 24/7/365 season on them, they still haven't been able to rid the county of them from what I've heard.

RE: Hogs In ohio

im hunting in vinton, got some signs of hogs but yet to see any, i have a photo on my trail cam that im pretty sure its a hog, rolling around in mud holes and scratching theirselves on trees waist high. people still talk about them running around, my uncle shot one about 8 years ago, gun huntinghenailed it2 times w/12 ga while it was trotting through the woods..he said the first shot never fazed him just kept running, found blood and tracked forever..nothing.... he said it was 250-300 pounds..i believe him too hes from florida he used to kill hogs all day long. it sure would be nice to get a crack at one...good luck this season
