Havent seen anything while on stand. A few does and a the same few 4 pointers everytime I head to my stand though. Im not quite that desperate yet, but check back in a couple weeks and theres a good chance of me saying screw it and taking one of them.

Went up to our property in Baldwin all weekend, we're having some of the best hunting ever up there, still not seeing any bucks but thats typical for that area. I think its because of the baiting ban because we are the only property that has food plots so deer are everywhere, we shot at 5 doe saturday, missed 1, gave a haircut to 1, and recovered the other 3.

Good to hear about doe's being harvested. Keep up the good work. As for Menominee County, seeing more deer now that alot of the corn in the area has been chopped, some rubs and scraps. Visually only seen forks and smaller, some of them harassing does already.

beans are being picked here in plainwell / kalamazoo, but the corn is still up.

There moving and the spikes are trying to get on the does. Kinda funny really to watch the spikes trying to get their groove on.

Yesterday wasa beautiful morning to be in a deer stand! Was a perfect combination of cold temps with gusting winds out of the N to NW. My brother in law had seen a nice buck Saturday evening, but was unable to call him into bow range so I setup on the old two track that the buck was on Saturday evening. The wind was perfect as I could come in from downwind and had a big swamp to my NE and a nice hardwood ridge and small swamp to my NW.

About 8:30, I had a nice little fork horn walk right under my stand and then about 15 minutes later I had this buck come from the exact same location....from the hardwood ridge to my NW. He came straight in from my left and then started to turn and head south. I had to stop him and made a decent 25 yd quartering away shot. Had to shoot him at the back of the ribs because he didn't stop as quickly as I wanted him to and the front part of his vitals were behind some heavy cover. He ran about 50 yards and expired. I'm guessing he's a 2 1/2 year old, maybe 110" gross. Very symmetric, pretty buck.

VERY impressed with the new SlickTrick RazorTrick broadheads I'm shooting this year! Suffered some aggravation early on, but after some intensive paper tuning and adjustments to my string loop and whisker biscuit, I have them shooting spot-on (Thank you Ken and Jonathon at KD Outdoors!). Shot a doe Saturday evening that also went down within 50 yards. Both deer left very good blood trails.

Good luck everyone and be safe!

Chris
