Ohio/Indiana no acorns?
Did we have a late frost this year? It seems like the big oaks that usually produce dump trucks worth of acorns are barren this year. Anyone else notice this? I am talking about the southwest ohio/southeast indiana region. Thanks,

i set up my stand in sullivan county southwest indiana the wood strip it is in is full of them lucky me i guest

Acorns are very scarce in southern Indiana from what I have seen , I think it has something to do with that monsoon we had this spring. Maybe the hard rain washed all the pollen off, IMO.

I guess its just the whote oaks around here.. I found two pin oaks that are producing about 40 yards from my stand. But the pin oaks aren't that old/big yet so its not a big crop. O well hopefully the white oaks produce well next year. Gotta change the tactics
