Cheaper than a ticket though....DNR certainly patrols during firearms season, and they're known to be less than friendly.

Father got a "warning" years ago for not signing his license, the landowners were shocked that he didn't get a fine/ticket, they've dealt with that game warden before. So don't forget to sign your license/permits etc....before going into the field, otherwise they're void and if you get stopped, simply signing it may not solve the problem....

Whew, I justed checked mine, not signed. I bought it at Diick's Sporting Goods and just stuffed it in my wallet. All legal now. Thanks

happy to help bud, I've learned my lesson now, most licenses have you sign somewhere, so whenver I get one in the mail etc....I check for it and sign it. even if the hunts months away etc....because of course months from now youll just grab your tag/license and be off and it wont be signed.
