RE: Cover Scent for Illinois?
Here is something I've been doing for years with pretty good results. I have a persimmon tree in the front yard. When they start dropping I start picking them up. I will place about 20 of these in a zip lock bag and smash them all up. Then I have one of those plastic totes that I keep my hunting clothes, hat, calls, and safety belt in. I then take that bag of persimmons and I open the top of it and throw it in the tote. It will work all season long. When they start to fermint it makes it even better.

ORIGINAL: JohnnyLonghorns I use Hunter's Specialty Scent killer. I did use the Acorn stuff once, but the deer kept busting me every time so I went back to the basic stuff. I try to aviod my scent be climbing really really high up in the tree. That seems to work about as well as anything. Where are you hunting and with what outfitter if you don't mind me asking? I'm in Adams/Pike area... |
