I was living right on the river up by Muscatine on the Illinois side the last time that there was bad flooding. I was running bank lines in my front yard for a couple weeks.

I heard they closed some of the flood gates on the Illinois side down by the rail road tracks in Chester Illinois, they're expecting the Mississippi River to crest later on this week,I believe St. Louis is suppose to crest at around 39.4 feet,it was up to 40 feet back in 1993 so we're talking about some serious high water!
