I have ground a few miles north in Marion Co. IMO NE Missouri offers some outstanding hunting and is really a hide gem. If Missouri would ever outlaw rifle hunting, the State would turn into a powerhouse within 3 years. I know at our farm anything that walks across our neighbor's field is dead regardless of age or sex. Plus, you can kill 3 bucks and gun hunt for 10 daysstraight. Not exactly the best rules for growing monster whitetails! However, I've had several friends take some monsters out of Missouri.

Mark Twain Lakeshould offersome of the best Missouri Public Land hunting. There is a ton of ground over there.
