I am not a member but my g/f and I go to their shoots often. It's a bit pricey to join, but the facility is really very nice, nice course & targets, clubhouse. It's about the only club to consider if you live in Chicago or the suburbs. If you are farther south you might consider the club in Joliet. Then there is one in Sycamore and that is about it as far as I know. CBH I think is the best. Members have been extremely nice to us when we go shoot there.

Thanks Zim. I was a member of Aurora Sportsmen's Club for years, but with their move further west decided to try something else. The CBH spot is 10 mins from my house, so it is certainly convient for after work shooting practice.

What is this Aurora Sportsman's club? We live in St. Charles not far from there.

I grew up down the road from the Aurora Sportsmen Club. Why are they moving all the way to Waterman, that is a hike!!

Think it has a lot to do with all the homes built around the club and the value of the land that will be sold to a developer.

To bad, that was a nice facility from what I remember. That whole Sugar Grove area is nothing like it used to be. There is a killer quary right down the road from there that I used to catch huge Bass out of.

I have heard lots of good things about the club. Have never been but would like to check it out one day.
