I've been a firearms deer hunter in MN (up north, down south, other states and Canada)since 1984.I also hunt pheasants, and used to hunt ducks. In the pastten years I've given up on waterfowl, and gotten more and more into deer.
At age 42 I've decided I want to bow hunt (always wanted to, finally decided I wasn't getting any younger, better get start now). Got a bow last spring, and have been practicing/learning since.
This fall I will bow hunt for the first time. I'm stoked!

Nice to see all the Minnesota guys here. I hunt deer, woodcock and grouse, and occassionally ducks. I hunt deer with rifle and muzzleloader, had to give up bowhunting a few years back to spend some time with the new daugther, and between bird hunting, bow hunting, rifle, and muzzleloader, something had to give. haha, so, anyway...
