i seen a 6 pointer chasin a doe, head down and all, but she wanted nothing to do with him. my buddy said he's seen two smaller bucks doing some sparring. my dad also has seen this the other night behind his house with a pair of nicer bucks.

Okay it HALLOWEEN and I hunted pretty hard the last 5 days and seen ZERO chasing, which makes me conclude that all this talk of an "Early" rut is BS, it'll be the same time as last year or a day or two off, which puts the chase happeining around Nov. 3-5th here in Central ILLINOIS.
