Mich NR
Hello everyone great site,I am a IL resident with a permission to hunt a south west MI farm for deer and turkey.I was told I can buy the permits over the counter 138.00 for deer and 68.00 for turkey. Is the deer permit e/s?I was born before 1960 so I don't need a safety certificate.?Is any of this stuff true?Any help would be appreciated, for some reason DNR site keeps freezing up on me.Thanks again.

Yes ... it's true if you were born before 1960 you don't need a hunters safty certificate , good luck to you and enjoy hunting in the Great Lake State of Michigan.

RE: Mich NR
The Deer license is for buck only or doe only,They are two seperate license,
You can purchase a left over doe tag if they are available A non-resident doe tag is $100. Good luck in your hunting |
RE: Mich NR
I live in Milwaukee but was born and raised in Detroit, own Property in NLP and still have to buy a NR tag! Sucks, but o well! I always purchase the combo license for Deer, better options if you also gun hunt. My unit for Turkeys is a lottery, $69 tag which I always seem to get drawn, a plus for being NR maybe a certain quota they need to fill. Also if you buy 3 or more license you get 15% off you total!
