I saw 4 or 5 this weekend, had a nice doe about 15 yards. She didn't give me a good chance to draw on her. When I did draw, she spotted me and took off.. errr. she was nice too.. Would have been nice to score on opening weekend, but oh well..

I got out Sat & Sun, drew on a doe twice but she never gave me the shot. Had a yearling doe @ 15yds that I could have dropped she was a little small. Seen 5 on sunday night stalking a wildlife area right by my house got to within shooting range of a nice doe but the skeeters got the better of me and she busted me.

I got a doe last night. I got to the stand at 6, she came walking by at about 7. I shot her a little high but hit lungs. She went about 100 yards, I heard her crash from the stand. weird night to get a deer - the temp was going up all night! On the ride home from 9 to 10pm the temp went up 2 degrees. I had her in 80 pounds of ice last night.

I went out sat with out the bow[:@],jumped a nice buck and a doe,went to check things out after work and it was getting late,had 2 doe come in under me for about 20-25 min then walked away.Iam going out Wed..

I went out saturday, had 1 really really big doe and her fawn walk right through my shooting lane..she never hesitated walking right past my shooting lanes...then I saw 5 bucks out in the field about 150 yards....4 of them were sparring on and off. On my way out I ended up spookin em. I didn't see how big 2 of them were. But 1 was REAL nice and 2 were prob about 1 1/2 yrs old.

I miss being home there sometimes I grew up near Watkins MN.
