Illinois NR Gun Tags
 

This was my 1st year applying for a Illinois NR gun tag. Can anyone tell me when I should expect to hear whether or not I was drawn? I keep checking the online license status site, but it just says pending.

I was wondering the same, I already got my archery tags last week

hcaarcher1, where will you be hunting, dates,and will you be with a outfitter?

No outfitter, I will be hunting the Crawford County public hunting area during the opening gun season. This is my first time out there, so it's just a starting point to learn the area and hopefully find some private properties for the future. Some other people I know have hunted this area before and have seen a number of good bucks (135 - 150) in the past, so we'll see what happens.

I will be in Brown County on my friends, friends land from November 5th thru to the 21st, bow and shotgun

I just called and found out that the drawing will not take place til after labor day.

For the Non-Resident Hunters: You purchased your NR Hunting License and Habitat Stamp on-line? If so, did you print it and if so, is this the offical license? I printed mine, I was wondering if this was the offical license or would we get one in the mail

I have not purchased the license and habit stamp yet.....I was waiting to get the firearm permit first.
