Missouri winter?
 

Anybody seen any forecasts for what type of winter we're supposed to have this year? I'm always hoping for lots of snow.

No I haven't heard any thing as yet. I always like to hunt in the snow. I hunt in northeast Missouri and would welcome a snow during the season as well.

I live here at The Lake of the Ozaks last winter with all the ICE and snow was not all that much fun.

Yea, ice sucks but the snow is ok. Now I don't mean 3 feet of it but snowfall in inches is ok.

My dad lives at the Lake, so I know winter can be quite nasty and inconvenient down there. I can do without ice too, but give me as much snow as possible. There's nothing worse than a "dusting", especially of the forecast was for much more.

that ice we had in springfield sucked balls!!! I lost power for what seemed like foreve!

We didn't have much snow last winter.....had a little freezing rain but nothing like what everyone else had in North MO. which knocked out a lot of electricity all over. [:@]

The best time to see deer moving and feeding is when there is a storm or cold front coming in...the deer sense this and will try to feed before and also after bad weather.

How can they predict what kind of winter we are going to have? They can't even predict what it will do tomorrow!

Last year had to brave the roads after the Ice storms to get corn in thefeeders. I wish more people would feed them when they need it instead of feeding them to entice. People would have more deer the next season if they helped keep them alive in the bad times. They could not get to anything else to eat. Went through 200 pounds in a week. Other than the ice storms we have had a couple of mild winters.I am expecting a bad one this year dispite the so called forecasters.
