YEs I checked this morning and all in my party have recieved just what we applied for.

The Govenor himself will be delivering them this afternoon in time for our 4th of July celebrations. He's a good little beeotchy.

I got hosed!!!

This is the second time in 5 years I have been shut-out at Lowden-Miller.

I guess I'll do the stand-by thing on Thursday and Friday when things are slow.

Got mine! The website wasn't working so I called 'em. The guy that answered, after I gave him my info said, " I have good news, and bad news for you"...I nearly had a grabber right then! He said the bad news was the website was having problems...Damn his humor:)


Now I just need to get the ok from Uncle Matt to come bowhunt with him and I'm golden :eek:

I'll be out there trying to break-ina new Encore Pro Hunter 209x.50 , I drew 2 General tags and 2 Muzzleloader tags..... now IF I could just get a 150+ class buck to stand still long enough ?!? ;):D

My wife and I got full season Clay and I got a Muzzleloader Wayne. My wife just took up hunting this year. She has a Diamond bow and a Omega 50cal. Cant wait to get her out and experience what has kept me out of the house the last 10 years.

I checked and I got either sexfor Pope. I wish I could get the bonus anterless tag. I'll try for a second season only after Sept 3rd. Haven't had any problems applying for the second seasons yet.

That's cool, best of luck to her! My 12 year old Daughter will also be using a T/C Omega this Fall,trying to take here first blackpowder deer. She's previously only used a 20 gauge slug gun but she loves shooting her blackpowder rifle so much, it's the only weapon she wants to use this year! It's amazing just how well the girl can shoot the thumbhole stocked version! I got here an Either-sex General Firearm tag and a Muzzleloader-only tag, she'll also be able to hunt during the Special Antlerless-Only Youth hunt Oct.6-7. It should be a great season for us!

Go to the IDNR web site and look for a link I think called "check deer permit status". You'll have to fill in the blanks your name and birthdate. Should show a screen with your permit info.

Just checked mine for Livingston. I got Either Sex full season with the Bonus.....So did my dad, brother, and uncle.

I think that maybe the governor looks at this as easy money....

I checked a few days ago. I got mine for muzzleloader but my firearm tag didn't show up. I don't know if it was misentered or something so I still have hope I'll get it.

If you didn't show up for firearm - THATS NOT GOOD. If you are atleast entered for consideration your name should be shown and your status should be listed as"PENDING".

I'm trying to contact the permit office first since it's illegal if I apply for another before the random drawings. I know they recieved it as they cashed the check. I'm going on the assumption that they missentered that one.

EDIT: Just got a reply. They did missenter it. They put the Middle initial on the same line as my first name. I did geta firearm permit.

i worked at site M for 3 years and seen some big bucks all over that place. the secret is to get deep and away from others!! or you will have bikers. hikers, and other hunters(especialy gun season) walking around you all day. the bigest buck i have seen killed had to be drug out 2 miles to the road. but the guy said it was well worth it..lol. good luck man. let me know if i can be of some help when you get there.

haha ummmm.....lol thats the biggest problem with site M you can only park certain areas and you cant use anything motorized accept on the roads and parking areas. makes deep woods hunting a pain.

I got lucky in my first year applying as a resident. Drew a combined ES permit for Jim Edgar Panther Creek.

Works out great because I have to buy a muzzleloader for my upcoming Nevada mule deer hunt anyway. Now I can use it for this gun hunt as well. Know the property quite well as I've bowhunted there often over the years. Just tryin to think of a good area to take advantage of the longer range ability.

Get this..........

I applied online like I have in the past. Every year I put in for a party hunt with Me, my son, and my father as the party.Last week my father and my son get their gun tags in the mail. As of today I still havent gotten mine. I called up and talked with a guy at the permit office and asked him what was going on. He says "sir you applied for the second lottery" I asked him how I could have done that when only the first lottery was available and I did it with a party. Everything on the application has to be the same and my other 2 members of my party (I was the party leader) got their tags but I didnt. "sir you filled out your application wrong" I asked him How I could have done that when it was done online and I was in a party. He says "we cannot and will not do anything for you, and Im not going to argue" Im not arguing Im trying to point out something here and your not seeing it. "he then hangs up"

Now, im pissed off the guy hangs up on me..........................*&%#*$&#$#$#*$[:@][:@][:@]

get a name and go up the line to the next guy. he cant act like that to you. i know i would have been fired for acxting like that when i worked for dnr.
