Redford Mi Range Update
 

My wife and I have been working around the clock trying to get Capitol Archery up and running well before this coming bow season. Our original thought was to only have an indoor range and call it good but, the more we work the more I am leaning towards a full pro shop and sales as well.
I have heard rumor though that when you own your own pro shop the hunting seasons seem to pass you by but, we'll see.
If, for the second or third time, all goes right, (haha) we will be opening the second or third week of August. 30 3-D targets with 15 shooting lanes. Vegas and 5 spot leagues. Fingers crossed again!! LOL!

RD-Gonna have to pull you out of retirement to work the hunting season!!:D

sounds interesting i'm located in detroit would be nice to have a local sports shop, been spending most of my money at cabelas

will there be archery ranges for just public shooting or leagues only? where exactly will this be lcated? any info would be great

The range is located in Redford. Between 96 and Plymouth, just west of Telegraph on Capitol. It will be open for open shooting as well with leagues, 3D - 5 spot and Vegas. We will start running some kind of after school archery program as well. Sundays will host trophy shoots. We are concentrating on getting the range open before September and will start stocking retail weekly. What we will carry will be what you the customers request i.e. most popular arrows, broadheads. etc. etc.

Don't HUH WHAT ME RD!!!!! LOL You said you wanted a part time job? Not interested during hunting season???? LMAO :D

Will you have a web site for your store which would include pricing and upcoming events and sales. It is a great idea for a after school program for kids. Hope all is a success for you and hope to visit your place soon.

awramale- I hope to have a full website with league stats, shooting results, schedules and pricing. It will take some time to get all of this organized but, that is our intentions.
