I'm going to cross the border and do some whitetail hunting in NE this year. Anyone have suggestions or thoughts?

If ur going to bow hunt i would suggest basswood ridge its about mile north of Homer, if ur going 2 r going 2 rifle hunt i would hunt omadi its right along the river bout 2 miles north of homer

No problem i've hunted basswood alot its ove 200 acres of timber ever time i went out there to bow hunt i see at 3 to 4 deer every time last year i had a nice little 4x4 basket rack walked right underneath my tree stand i was tempted but i thought bout it n i let him live another year but he probaly got shot during rifle season wouldnt surprise me

I'm also going to look at Sacramento-Wilcox. It has 3-4 others in surrounding area. I used to go to North Platte it was nice but small and no place to put the camper.

K I've seen people camp at basswood they dont have any electrical hookups its a pretty nice little area

I have a generator so that would work. Have you seen any quality bucks there. We may want to keep that to ourselves. You interested in hunting elk?

Ya actually i've been wanting 2 go elk hunting for the past couple of years just havent found the right place to go yet

Oh ya i love 2 bow hunt i've only been doing it for bout 4 years but i love it i rember my first bow hunt i was 16 i have a nice little basket rack come in bout 10 yards even though i missed him cuz i was shaking a lil bit but i love it

Not sure what you mean on the racks. I mostly bow hunt but need to do some gun hunting.Only because I have some expensive guns collecting dust.

He had some small antlers. ya theres some nice places up here to rifle hunt but its just dealing w other people

No worries I prefer archery any way. I can always head back to MI and use my shotguns.
