Ohio gun law

I was purchasing a 10/22 and i asked where i could find a 50 round clip for it. He didnt know but he was a sherrif once and he told me that there's a law that most people dont know about in ohio. It says that if a gun has a clip in it that contains over 30 rounds, the gun is considered an automatic, which is illegal. how dumb is that law? I dont care if it has 30 rounds or 1000 rounds in the clip it's still going to be semi automatic! So, be careful with your 30+ round clips

Squirrelkilla,

Tell him to read the ORC. It specifically says it does not apply to .22 long, short, or long rifle cartridges. If it is another cartridge, you need to follow NFA rules.

welcome. ALWAYS see it with your own eyes. Don't just take my word for it. It can also be found on the NRA website.
