Fountain, born and raised in Mason Co. Hunt just south of Scottville on private land. We do venture out on state land once in a while, got my deer last year at 3 in the afternoon on state land.

I also tournament bass fish all over the state, we are members of 3 different clubs, our last tourney is the 29th down in brooklyn, then it's serious hunting time. Just got my new bow last week and I'm getting anxious to get out in the woods. Have been doing some scouting and found some monsters last weekend. That makes it even more exciting and the wait is killing me.

Yes I may bowhunt up there in Kalkaska one weekend and im rifle hunting for about a week up there for the opener.

Oh your at Bald mountain to eh, im out there as well. I hear its pretty empty during bow, dont really feel like bumping into you though thats for sure, no offense [&:]

spininbug, My mom and dad live in Walhalla!! My biggest Michigan buck came from state land near there a 142 8pt. Good luck this year to ya!!! Walt
