Wisconsin Bear Bait
 

I just found out I drew a bear tag for zone C in Wisconsin. Do any of you know a place in northwestern wisconsin that sells large quantities of bear bait at a reasonable price? I see there is someone in medford that sells 55 gallon drums of mixed bait for about $50 dollars a drum. If anyone knows a place that is closer to khghkjh, I would appreciate the information. Also what have you guys had the most success with for baiting bear?

I have a family member who uses frier and grill grease from a local restaurant, which he gets for free, and then just mixes it with raspberries that he has growing behind his house. He's taken several bears with both bow and gun and swears by this bait. If your looking for cheap you may want to give it a look.

What type of bait does the guy in Cadott sell? Any idea of what he charges and what quantities he offers? Same thing for the person in Ladysmith.
