Aerial Photos for South Central WI??
 

I'm looking for GOOD aerial photos of the Pine Island area in Columbia Co. I've tried all of the free sites like google and yahoo and a few others, but just can't seem to find any maps close enough to show any topo features clearly. Actually I can't find any for free or that are convenient for me. The DNR station that covers the Pine Island area is about 3 hrs from me, a little too far for a quick trip. Any help guys?!?! Where/How do ya'll get your aerial maps or topo maps?

im suprised yahoo didnt work very well for you. i can see everything on our farm, even three deer in a corn field.

try mapquest...
type in the city/town lacation. the map pops up, then click on "arial" (sp)....on top right of map....
worked ok for me....

Check out the county's web site. Alot of counties now have online GISmapping programs that include aerial photos.

Good call on the Mapquest, I never even thought about a site like that. I still couldnt quite as close and clear as I wanted, but it is the best so far.

I played around with google earth for a little while last night, and the map I got off of mapquest was actually of better quality. I'm going to play around with ita little more tonight, but so far Im dissapointed with it.

I did, I wasn't impressed with the imagesI was able to get. So far mapquest and yahoo had the best images.
