58 yr.old male lives in Waterford, Mi. 30 odd miles NW of Detroit.
Hunt Thumb Area, Stonington in Delta County and the area around Brooklyn, Mi. Jealous of the retired GM guy, with my financial planning I can retire 5 years after I am dead (3 kids through college).

Onmy very first scouting trip to the property I saw over a dozen bucks with 4 of them being shooters of 8 pts and wider than their ears. While hunting I saw a very old wide 10 Pt. and another that looked more like a caribou. I lost an 8 pt. on the weekend before Halloween, I re-live that one 2-3 times a week. Searched and searched found an 8 pt. but it wasn't the one I hit, it came from some property north of us. I also missed an 8 pt. opening week. Our rule is 8 pts. or wider than the ears.
