Indiana - First Bow Kill
 

I posted this in the bowhunting thread too so my apologies if you've seen this twice.

I got my first ever bow kill Thursday, 12/28. It was a 27yd heart shot.....clipped the lungs a little.

She was 125lbs dressed. I used the Rage 2-Blade broadhead, it put a hurtin' on her!!

Congrats man. Late season archery kills can be hard to come by. Good way to get your first archery deer.

Thanks. It was a long time since the first week of the season where I missed 2. One where a branch deflected it and another that was at 42yds down hill and I shot high.

Wow! That broadhead did some damage. I just bought the rage 3-blade. I havent shot anything with them yet though. Congrats on your first bow kill.

Thank you. Since it was my first bowkill I don't have anything to compare it to but the penetration and damage from 27yds was great.
