I wouldn't worry too much about this bill. First: The sponsor of the bill Evelyn Bowles (an 80 year old lesbian - no joke) plans to retire before the end of the year. Second - the bill has only been introduced it is not scheduled for a committee hearing. Third - There are only four days of the 92nd General Assembly left. The 93rd General Assembly begins in early January. All bills (like this one) not acted upon on before the final day of the 92nd General Assembly are sine die - which basically means dead as a doornail.

I'll keep a look out for an introduction of a bill like this next year. If I see anything I'll let you all know.
