Late Firearm in Michigan

I found that you can hunt antlerless on private land during this late firearm season but I was wondering if on public land you can hunt bucks?(or doe if you have a permit). I could not dig up info regarding this. Can you have a regular firearm license or do you need you archery license as well or what? This would be my first time going for late firearm season, starts on the 18th. Just wondering if this was legal. Thanks!

the answer is no, the late antlerless season is for antlerless deer only and on private land and only in certain counties, sorry if you want a buck you are going to have to use bow. good luck

I figured as much, just wanted to confirm my previous assumptions.

No, just does on private lands that are specified in the Antlerless Hunting Guide.

It is a late antlerless season. Not a late firearm season.
