Southern Wisconsin

What ind of action are bowhunters seeing in southeastern WI. I have the good fortune of being able to hunt on 150 acres of private land in Kenosha county, but have seen few deer.

RE: Southern Wisconsin

I hunt in 70G and I have seen very little movement since the season opened. I hunt about 80 acres that connects to public land. Very few gun shots as the gun season is underway. I feel the deer are nocturnal and will stay that way till the end of the season.

RE: Southern Wisconsin

I hunt in West-Central WI and we have been having a really hard time getting them to move also. We have had a lot of windy days lately. We made 2 drives yesterday and the deer let the drivers get 5 feet from them before they even got up. And this was in a woods that was hardly hunted at all.
Now it is suppose to be even windier the next 2 -3 days. Which is going to make even harder.
Good luck to ya!
