Kansas tags

I was talking to a buddy last night and he said he is ready for rifle season cause he didn`t get a buck during bow so maybe he can get one with the rifle. I was a little confused cause I thought it was one or the other. I have a bow buck tag. He said his is a buck tag that can be used during bow or rifle. Is he confused or am I misinformed? He said he got it at the KDWP office in Lenexa. Help me out here.

Does he have a landowners permit or a transfered permit? They can be used for either sex in any season.

No he is just like me, no landowner. He just went up there and purchased a tag. I don`t get it. Kshunter, can you check a Cabelas maybe and see if anyone there knows what I am talking about.
