Mature Michigan Buck
 

Shot this buck Sunday morning November 19at 9:30. Haven't had him aged yet. My guess is about 4 1/2. I didn't weigh him because I knew I couldn't pull him up off of the ground. Had to get the neighbor to help me get him into the back of my truck.

Shot him at the back of my 42 acrehalf mile deep property. It took me 2 hours and 40 minutes to drag him back to camp.

He is a main frame 10 point with a split left brow tine.

Unfortunately the way I have it laying it looks like a shotgun. It is a Remington model four autoloader in 308 cal. When I got this gun 25 years ago, the model four was a fancy stock version of the 7400.

Congrats on a nice looking buck. Looks like that snow on Sunday got some deer moving, this is the second picture of a nice buck I have seen that was taken last Sunday. Unfortunately we were driving back from the U.P. during that little bit of snow.

Nice buck, congrats. Funny thing - I would have thought that gun was a shot gun too. Your property must be just north of the line then. Excellent deer. Well done.
